AACC & Vienna Economic Forum Sign a Memorandum of Understanding
With the aim of enhancing mutual relations and strengthening cooperation between Austria, Southeastern European countries and Arab countries, the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC), represented by its Secretary-General Eng. Mouddar Khouja, and the Vienna Economic Forum (VEF), represented by its Secretary-General H.E. Ambassador Dr. Elena Kirtcheva, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 25 January 2023.
AACC Coordinates a Meeting with the Qatari Ambassador to Austria to Discuss Cooperation Prospects in the Field of Sports
On 24 January 2023, AACC coordinated a meeting between His Excellency Mr. Sultan Salmeen Almansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Austria, Mr. Stjepan Stazic, CEO of Basektball Club Vienna (BC Vienna), and Mr. Peko Baxant, Member of the Vienna State Parliament & City Council and Auditor at BC Vienna, in the presence of AACC Secretary-General Eng. Mouddar Khouja.
AACC Secretary-General Visits the Libyan Ambassador to Austria
On 17 January 2023, AACC Secretary-General Eng. Mouddar Khouja was received by H.E. Dr. Osama Abduljalil Abdulhadi, Ambassador of Libya to Austria for a courtesy visit at the premises of the Libyan embassy in Vienna.
AACC Secretary-General Visits the Director-General of the OPEC Fund for Industrial Development (OFID)
On 21 December 2022, AACC Secretary-General Eng. Mouddar Khouja paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, Director-General of the OPEC Fund for Internatioal Development (OFID) to discuss scopes of cooperation between AACC & OFID. SG Khouja presented the Chamber’s role and objectives and provided an overview of Austria’s and Europe’s economy in light of the current global conflicts, as well as the consequent challenges expected to arise.
High-level Panel on Business & Innovation in the UAE Organised by AACC
On 22 November 2022, the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC) organised a high-level panel entitled “New Business Horizons & Innovations in the United Arab Emirates”, which was held place in-person at Palais Eschenbach in Vienna and simultaneously online via Zoom.
