OBITUARY With a heavy heart and lot of grief, we regret to inform you that our dear President Senator h.c. Kommerzialrat Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Richard Schenz has passed away at the age of 83. A sudden death took him away from us. We, his family and colleagues, and everyone who knew him, have lost an outstanding personality, who has played a pivotal role in successfully shaping the Austrian economic landscape through various senior managerial positions. Dr. Richard Schenz served since 2010 as the President of the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce and devoted himself to the promotion of Austrian-Arab relations. His level-headed manner, his endearing humaneness and his unparalleled acumen will linger in our memories just as much as his impressive, professional accomplishments.
