The Wienerwald Residenz is located in the middle of the Wienerwald, near the river Schwechat, about 3 kilometers from the center of the imperial city of Baden near Vienna. Wienerwald Residence since 1881 - History

Franz Sacher’s summer residence, a Biedermeier period castle in the romantic Helenenthal, was to be inherited by his third son Karl (1849-1929), who expanded the property and founded the Hotel Sacher in Baden. It was here that Franz Sacher spent the last years of his life. Carl Sacher bequeathed the hotel to his son Carletto (1876–1960), who lived there with his wife Carla Sacher (1889–1989). The hotel was closed during the occupation after World War II. In 1956 it was reopened under the direction of Carletto and Carla Sacher and their children Carl-Ferdinand (1912 – 1991) and Marina. When Carla Sacher turned 100, a glamorous celebration took place at the Sacher family residence in Baden. From a young age, Marina’s daughter, Irene Sacher, devoted herself to the Hotel Sacher in Baden and the Sacher Residence in Baden. The Sacher family residence in Baden was sold in 2008 to the Schwarz family, who renovated the house and provided it as a guest house.

Medaia GmbH:

is located in Graz and develops and distributes the SkinScreener solutions. With these solutions, you can capture an image of a suspicious skin lesion and assess its risk for skin cancer. These devices are designed for laypersons, providing an easy-to-understand three-color code: green for low risk, amber for medium risk, and red for high risk.

The algorithm, trained with thousands of images, was verified in a study at the Medical University of Graz from 2018 to 2019. It has an accuracy of 95% and can detect 98% of all relevant skin cancer types on skin at Fitzpatrick types I to IV. In Europe, about 20% of the population will get skin cancer at least once in their lifetime. The increase in outdoor activities and exposure to high UV radiation will likely double the number of skin cancer cases in the next 10 years.

It's commonly known that one might wait months for an appointment with a dermatologist. While SkinScreener can provide an initial assessment of your suspicious skin lesion, it does not replace a dermatologist.

The MVP of SkinScreener was developed by Dr. Michael Tripolt, MPH, a dermatologist and surgeon, and DI Dr. Michael Koppitz, a general practitioner and biomedical engineer from 2015 to 2018. After the successful completion of the study, they founded Medaia GmbH. In 2021, Mr. Albin Skasa, currently the CEO, joined the company. Medaia has currently 11 employees and is certified according to ISO 13485 as well as MDR compliant. The two SkinScreener products, SkinScreener App and SkinScreener API, are class IIa medical devices in the EU.

SkinScreener had a quarter of a million downloads and analyzed more than 700,000 images so far. Insurance companies, as well as businesses with occupational health initiatives for outdoor workers, are among their customers. HETTMER INTERNATIONAL:

Originally founded in 1987 for accounting and balance sheet, software development, data processing and IT services and trading the sole proprietor “Manfred Hettmer – Software and Data Processing” expanded its activities to scientific software engineering in the topic of physics and finally primary into the sector of space techniques in 1998.

Therefore "QASAR Technologieentwicklung Ges.m.b.H." was founded in 2003 as a subsidiary, especially for the development of the Magnetic field oscillation amplified thruster, also called MOA thruster. Due to internal problems with shareholders and the resulting complete reorganization process of the parent company in 2020, the technology area is again re-integrated in the sole proprietorship Manfred Hettmer until the planned establishment of a new capital company.

After intermediate fundraisings and business activities in Germany between 2010 and 2013 supported by Fraunhofer IGB in Sttuttgart, the Landesbank Baden-Würtemberg LBBW and an investment company in Frankfurt/Main the MOA project was fund solely by the originally inventor as a sole proprietor since 2013. Therefore the sector accounting and balance sheet was reactivated in 2012 in Vienna.

Because of the principals used in the MOA technique it represents a key technology and so it offers also several other applications beside its origin as an in-space thruster. Therefore a planned new company is projected to be fund in corporation with a final user and/or an external investment in respect to an application selected to a commercial use also in terrestrial environment.
