INTRODUCTION & FOCUS:
In times marked by unprecedented turbulences and challenges, our global economy is at a turning point, ready to find new strategies for partnerships, cooperation, prosperity and growth. Arab countries and the MENA region are emerging as potent players in the global market, providing a diverse portfolio for cooperation in various critical sectors such as energy, human resources and supply. This opens new opportunities for Austria’s businesses that can benefit from excellent Austro‑Arab business relations and close vicinity to the region, while offering a stale and solid environment for investment and economic cooperation.
The 13th Arab-Austrian Economic Forum provides a unique and ideal platform to gather with official representatives, business-leaders, decision makers and experts, to exchange ideas and define strategies for future cooperation. This year’s Forum will put the focus on "Energy Strategies & Economic Cooperation with Arab Countries", highlighting some of the most exciting topics for our global community and economy, including hydrogen technologies, energy, renewables and environmental issues.
The program will feature an exclusive ministerial session with ministers and representatives from OPEC countries and from official institutions from the energy and resources sector, in addition to workshops with focus on the economic landscape, investment opportunities and future projects in some Arab countries, featuring high-level Arab officials and selected Austrian companies.
Parallel to the Forum, the Exhibition and Networking Area will be presenting displays of diplomatic representations of Arab countries in Austria, and is offering attractive promotion opportunities for companies, enterprises and international institutions in various fields.
