On 13 June 2022, the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC) organised and hosted at its premises a meeting between ILF Consulting Engineers Austria GmbH, TG Mess-, Steuer- und Regeltechnik GmbH, and H.E. Ambassador Yousef Aljabri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Austria, accompanied by Dr. Mag. Wafaa Elewa from the Economic Affairs Office at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Vienna. ILF Consulting Engineers Austria GmbH, was represented by Dr. Siegfried Gugu, Executive Vice President and Regional Group Director of the Eastern Hemisphere, and Mr. Gianmaria LaPorta, Business Group Director of Energy & Climate Protection, while TG Mess-, Steuer- und Regeltechnik GmbH was represented by DI Damir Zibrat.
H.E. Ambassador Aljabri presented Oman’s waste-to-energy programme and strategy, and together with Dr. Elewa and AACC Secretary-General Eng. Mouddar Khouja discussed with the representatives of the two Austrian companies avenues of cooperation in the fields of renewables, waste-to-energy, consulting and engineering as well as control systems and integration support for incineration plants. At the end of the meeting, H.E. Ambassador Aljabri presented a gift to SG Khouja as a token of appreciation for all his efforts aimed at strengthening the Austro-Omani economic and cultural ties.
