Cooperative Talks with Partners of the Libyan Ministry of Economy
for Digital Transformation & Electronic Online Document Handling

On 29 November 2023, AACC Secretary-General Eng. Khouja received a delegation of high-level representatives from Libya Trade Network, an e-government project implemented by the Libyan Ministry of Economy, to regulate the international trade process inside of Libya and with different related public and private sector institutions.
The Libyan delegation comprised of H.E. Dr. Sliman A.M. Al-Ajili, Former Minister of Economy of Libya; Mr. Emhemed Elderwish, Chairman of the Board of Directors; and Mr. Haitham Rajab, Assistant Executive Director for Digital Commerce Affairs.
The delegation presented the portfolio of the newly established Libya Trade Network, affiliated to the Ministry of Economy, to manage and keep pace with the digital transformation in economy and e-commerce.
In this context, SG Khouja introduced the chamber’s Unified Arab Joint‐Chambers Block Chain Process Project, a project to digitalise the process for export document legalizations and services in the future.
Together, they discussed potentials of future cooperation and the necessary steps to implement the digital transformation in accordance with national and international trade document regulations.
