AACC welcomes the Libyan Minister of Industry & Minerals
and delegation at its premises

On 28 November 2023, AACC Secretary-General Eng. Khouja welcomed H.E. Mr. Ahmed Abu Hisa, the Minister of Industry & Minerals of the State of Libya, accompanied by H.E. Dr. Osama Abdulhadi, Ambassador of the State of Libya to Austria, and high-level delegates at the premises of the Austro-Arab Chamber of Commerce.
The Libyan delegation comprised of Mr. Mohammed Abdelmalik Elfighi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company; Mr. Emad Wagad, Director of the Minister’s Office, Ministry of Industry & Minerals; Prof. Abdulhamid El-Sharif, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Misurata; and Mr. Abdulkarim Alhaderi, Chief of Cabinet of the Ministry.
The Minister, who also participated as guest of honour in the 13th Arab-Austrian Economic Forum held one day before at the Haus der Wiener Wirtschaft with more than 200 participants, congratulated AACC to the successful event. He then presented the official strategy of his ministry in the field of industrialization and cooperation with partners from the private sector.
In this context, AACC invited members and partners with relevant industrial projects and innovations to participate in the meeting and introduce their portfolios.
AACC member Eng. Manfred Hettmer presented the Magnetic Field Oscillation Amplified Accelerator, an industrial application in extracting elementary raw materials from earth soil and other celestial bodies; whereas Eng. Dr. Erwin Greiler, who joined the meeting virtually, introduced his innovative technology for environmental-friendly hydrogen production and carbon-gold application processes that can also be used for genuine desert greening.
The presentations were followed by lively discussions and exchange of ideas between the Libyan delegates and the Austrian representatives.
