On 4 May 2023, H.E. Dr. Haytham Abu Alfoul, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Austria, received AACC Secretary-General Mr. Khouja for a courtesy visit, which took place at the premises of the Jordanian embassy and in the presence of Counselor Ms. Rana Abida.
During this meeting, SG Khouja presented the Chamber’s legal status and scope of work under the umbrella of the League of Arab States and discussed with Ambassador Abu Alfoul the procedure of the General Assembly and the role of the Arab Ambassadors Council. SG Khouja also elaborated on the necessity of electing a new president for the Chamber and amending the statutes.
Ambassador Abu Alfoul and SG also discussed a number of cooperation prospects between Austria and the Arab Countries.
